Elavon Payment Processor Plugin Features
Introduction
Plugins are small, but effective software modules that seamlessly integrate with your Tagrain Edition and contain features that extend the functionality offered by your base Tagrain Edition. You can activate a plugin from the Purchase Subscription screen. You can approach this screen from the Plugins screen or the Manage Account section. Please refer to the article on Subscription Management which explains in detail the journey and the process to activate the plugins.
The Elavon Payment Processor plugin when subscribed to and activated allows you to offer a quick, seamless and secure payment experience to your customers. Once set up, cashiers can take credit and debit card payments from customers using the Elavon Payment Device.
Available only for the USA and Canada, Elavon Payment Processor plugin allows you to accept normal and contactless NFC credit and debit card payments from all major brands using the Elavon Payment Device.
The Elavon Payment Processor plugin comes free with Tagrain. Activating this plugin will have no impact on your existing subscription as the plugin is free.
After you subscribe to the Elavon Payment Processor plugin, you will have to map the Elavon Payment Processor Device to your POS terminal to be able to accept card payments.

Integrates with Tagrain POS System
This plugin allows you to integrate Elavon Payment Processor with Tagrain on iPad, Android tablet or PC. Once integrated, it allows you to accept credit and debit card payments from customers at the POS terminal using the Elavon Payment Device. The payment collected is reconciled and lets you see most deposits in your Account the next day.
Synchronise POS transactions
This plugin allows you to integrate Elavon Payment Processor with Tagrain on iPad, Android tablet or PC. Once integrated, it allows you to accept credit and debit card payments from customers at the POS terminal using the Elavon Payment Device. These payments flow from Tagrain to your Elavon Payment Processor and vice versa, so there’s no need for you or your cashier to manually enter the amount in the books or do reconciliation at the end of the day.
Accept any form of payment
Accept the latest payment technologies with Elavon Payment Processor, including credit cards and debit cards from all major brands, and contactless NFC payments. When you integrate your Tagrain POS system with the Elavon Payment Processor, the data (which typically comprises the reference numbers and auth numbers for the credit card transactions done), syncs directly between the Elavon Payment terminal and the Tagrain point-of-sale, helping you save the hassle of manually entering the amount, customer and card details at the checkout.
Safe, secure and EMV-certified
Elavon Payment Processor is a PCI-certified system that is fully encrypted to ensure your customers can shop with greater confidence and is EMV-certified to keep you protected. When you integrate your Tagrain POS system with the Elavon Payment Processor, the data (which typically comprises the reference numbers and auth numbers for the credit card transactions done), syncs directly between the Elavon Payment terminal and the Tagrain point-of-sale.
