Features of Multiple Units of Measurement Plugin
Introduction
Unit of Measurement is defined as a standard quantity or a standard size that is used for inventory measurement. It’s a physical unit (like kg, dozen, meter etc.) in which retailers measure and manage different inventory items. This means that one product can have multiple units of measure.
For example: A coke can be managed in different UOM like CAN, BOX (12 cans), CARTON (24 cans) ... Similarly a shirt can be managed in different UOM like EACH, PAIR (2 shirts), BOX (6 Shirts) and so on. Different UOMs can be used for different retail transactions. Each product may have a different stocking unit of measure, different sales ordering unit of measure and a different purchasing unit of measure.

Multiple Units of Measurement Plugin is a software module that seamlessly integrates with Tagrain and allows retailers to further extend the capabilities of their edition. Define and Manage Multiple Units of Measure
This Plugin allows retailers to define multiple Units of Measure (UoM) for a single product, giving them the flexibility to maintain inventory in their choice of UoM.
Sell products in different UoM
This Plugin allows retailers to sell a product in multiple UoM. For example: A shirt can be sold in different Units of Measure like a BOX (6 Shirts), Pair (2 Shirts) and so on.
Purchase products in different UoM
This Plugin allows retailers to purchase a product in multiple UoM. For example: A retailer may purchase a box of Shirt (6 Pieces) and sell it in pairs or a single piece.
